Our Dahabiya’s are built in the traditional style, propelled by 2 Lanteen sails at fore and aft. They may look traditional but are fitted out in modern, chic style with oriental and Egyptian touches. The interior boasts superior quality modern furnishings and each cabin has its own individual decoration.
The Queen Tye (formally known as Lara )Dahabie has five double cabins and each has its own private bathroom with a toilet, wash basin, shower and electric shaver point. Four cabins have two single beds and the suite with private balcony a double bed. There is also a single bedroom which can be used for the tour guide or for a single person, the maximum capacity is eleven passengers. The cabins are located towards the back of the boat on the starboard and port sides, separated by a central corridor. The communal lounge covers the width of the boat and is a lovely and elegant setting for dining or lingering over a cold drink in the evening, from the on board bar. The kitchen is at the front, together with the staff cabins and sitting areas.
The Queen Tye comes with its own chef who will offer a range of tantalizing dishes during your cruise. You may leave the choice up to us or let us have your special requirements in advance. All dishes are freshly prepared and are subject to seasonal availability.
